This
is the second one who responded that said that my
email address was a problem. By the way I have an
appointment with a financial planner / tax
consultant tomorrow in town regarding my cold
financial letter.

Ron, This seemed difficult until I started typing
and the thoughts started flowing. I am truly amazed
at the ideas you have given me through this program
after only two sessions. I was a little startled by
your "directness" on the first conference call but I
think I could use a sobering view of reality when
rates rise. It seems originators in the industry
here in Boston are more focused on inflated sales
numbers with refinances than establishing long term
relationships with Realtors and Professionals for
the purchase business of the future. I just received
the mortgage coach two days prior to your seminar
and am still familiarizing myself with the software
while attempting to incorporate this with the Greg
Frost Act database. I look forward to the rest of
the conference calls.

First let me say that the most recent Advanced MC
Workshop with Ron was LIGHT-YEARS ahead of the
previous one. I loved the interviews and the
additional info on the links page. Very well done.

I am finding your training sessions very informative
with excellent tools for me to use as I develop my
business. Being new to the business, I very much
like the idea of pursuing financial, insurance, etc.
persons in order to develop relationships to more
quickly move forward.
Thanks for all of the information that you are
providing.

Just a quick note. I thought that today's call was
absolutely terrific! Everyone seems willing to share
and exchange ideas. You did a great job keeping the
conversation focused. Thanks! I'll talk to you
soon. Thanks again for a great call!

I just got finished with the first .wav file on the
cd-rom you sent me for the Mortgage Coach training.
And you are right - often we buy these training
materials on tape or disk and they sit around
gathering dust. So I brushed off the
dust....materials presented were thought-provoking
and I got several "Ah-ha's" from them. The whole
integration piece is really important. I've used the
Total Cost and the Consolidation analyses a number
of times in presentations, but I am not yet
consistent with it. I am very interested in learning
techniques for and maximizing my ability to market
to other professionals so as to make my practice
"cause-driven" rather than rate-driven. You've
gotten me (re)excited about the Mortgage Coach and
the possibilities of the entire mortgage business.
It just makes sense to create a mutually beneficial
business with associated professionals. And I
believe that they will respond in exactly the way
you say they will. Nobody else is doing this that I
know of in my market, at least not in any concerted
fashion. Thanks for your commitment!

Congratulations on a terrific teleconference today.
This was my first exposure to your knowledge, and I
am looking forward to being a client. I am looking
to begin a new sales career in mortgage/real estate
(maybe insurance). Will you give me some advice on
getting started in mortgage lending, i.e. courses,
educational materials, etc. Not many mortgage
brokers do any training in mortgage, more to the
point, in finding business. Also, most brokers want
one or two years experience. I have 17 years
competitive selling experience that I believe will
help me succeed in lending. Thank you,

Hi, Ron - I've been one of the quiet ones in your
mortgage coach workshop. It was really terrific!
Just the timing wasn't great for me. I'm a sole
practitioner working out of my home in Lake Oswego,
OR and my part time assistant/processor went on
early maternity leave, so I'm doing all the jobs
(including processing) which doesn't leave much time
for doing workshop homework. I'm hoping to take the
course again in Oct and be able to supply the
assignments for your review next time. All in all
though, your format is fabulous and the written
material way worth the price of admission. I
absolutely got my moneys worth! I just ordered ACT!
2000 on ebay for $28.99 (after shipping) and that
idea alone saved me almost the cost of the
workshop. I really appreciate the teleconference
format. I was able to put the call on speaker and
handle some other matters at the same time. I
probably will never go to a hotel based seminar
again. My business is really running well and since
I have very little overhead (in fact with the home
based tax benefits I like to say that I make money
every day even if I don't close a loan), I do OK in
every rate environment. I work almost 100% by
referral from existing clients (very little work
with realtors), BUT I want to be part of that
trusted advisor team with financial planners, cpa's
etc which is why I signed up for the workshop. I
think that my advice does make a difference, but I
want to have those systems in place so that I KNOW
that it does. You've given me a game plan and I
thank you for it. I am determined to put it into
practice ASAP and then you will hear from me
regarding email coaching etc. Thanks for
listening. P.S. The only Tom Hopkins that I
remember is that contracts should be "authorized"
not signed.

Hey Ron, Just wanted to let you know how much I
enjoyed the MortgageCoach training conference. As
always, there was an avalanche of
great information. I took copious notes when both
you, Dave and Philip were speaking. Now I'm buried
trying to implement as much of it as I can.
I would say that the biggest and most immediate
benefits came from your stressing the importance and
varied uses of the RateWatch Report and the Formal
Presentation Book. I've officially had the
MortgageCoach software for 1 year now and I had
never realized how powerful and how many different
uses that the RateWatch Report has. We have been
meeting with all of our established Financial
Planners to show it to them and they all love it!
The other item that has been a huge benefit is the
Formal Presentation Book. For the past year we've
been working with a very informal and yet highly
effective presentation booklet. It's a nice folder
with 3, actual client loan analyses and some general
info regarding consumer debt, etc. But our new
presentation book absolutely blows away what we've
been doing. We've added pages that describe our
personal business philosophy, our business "cell"
structures and all the other outstanding ideas that
you and Dave suggested. Now I've got to work on the
new "Realtor" sections that you discussed today.
Because of some of things that I learned during the
trainings we now have 4 large venue seminars set-up
for September, October and December! Business is
cranking up again (after taking the pain and dumping
all those deals that were dragging us down) and I'm
proud to say that 64.5% of our new apps are purchase
deals and we haven't even gone after any realtor
business yet.
Thanks again for a truly informative training. I'll
be signing up for the Realtor training you offered
today as well.

This class was like the biggest banquet on mortgage
ideas I have even taken. If I were to apply half of
what I heard, I believe that I would see business
beyond my capacity. Thank you for so much food for
thought.

Excellent workshop! I have had the Mortgage Coach
for the past year and have learned that I have not
used it anywhere close to its fullest potential.
The workshop gave me great insight on how to
implement the program into our business and move to
another level. The additional commentary was also
welcome in formulating business plans and
strategies. Look forward to another call with you
and your company.

Just wanted to let you, Michael, and Greg know how
much I enjoyed today's call. It is always great to
hear how the PRO'S do it. As a matter of fact, as I
write this, I realize that not only are your calls
informative, but they are also very inspiring. Now
that the call is over, I can feel an energy that I
didn't have earlier today. I appreciate each of you
taking time out of your day to share your marketing
ideas with the rest of us. Next time Michael is on
I'd be interested in hearing more specifics about
his co-marketing with realtors. Thanks again for
everything. Have a great week.
